This paper analyzes digital citizenship, emphasizing that the real and digital worlds are part of the same reality and require similar social norms. It explores netiquette, a set of rules that promote respect and harmony online, focusing on three key principles: appropriate language use, respect for privacy, and critical information selection. Through everyday examples, the text illustrates how these norms are often ignored, leading to issues such as cyberbullying. It concludes that adopting a responsible and conscious attitude online is essential for safe interaction. Promoting these practices strengthens digital identity and enables respectful participation in digital environments.
