Abstract

In this brief but interesting micro-essay, Jorge outlines some of the characteristics of the love letter that establish it as a reference within the epistolary genre, whether public or private in nature. Considering the love letter as a medium for literature not only challenges the definition of major literary genres, but also opens the possibility of discussing everyday and private writing practices that, under traditional literary standards, would not be considered as such.
